Clergy Discretionary Fund

    St. Mark's answers the call to care for those in need in so many important ways. One of the quietest ways our clergy members support those in need is by responding to emergency requests for aid, including: temporary shelter and utility assistance, gas or grocery support, and other basic needs requests. As costs increase for many necessities, the requests our clergy receive have become more frequent. The Clergy Discretionary Fund is the only means of providing this assistance that our clergy members can use to support individuals in urgent need of help.

    If you feel called to help support our neighbors experiencing economic hardships, please consider donating the the Clergy Discretionary Fund by noting this in the memo line of donations made by check or in the comment box for donations made to the General Fund online. These funds are used solely for charitable aid to individuals in need. Last year, the Clergy Discretionary Fund provided over $4,000 in emergency aid to those in need.
