Manos de Dios (Hands of God)
St. Mark's has been involved with the Manos de Dios Mission in Honduras since its inception over 25 years ago. This mission began with a partnership between four area Episcopal churches: St. Andrew’s (Seguin), St. John’s (New Braunfels), St. Francis by the Lake (Canyon Lake), and St. Mark’s (San Marcos).
Read the wonderful story of how the Manos de Dios ministry evolved from a conversation to a church planting mission and ultimately a parish and so much more in Danli, Honduras.

Breakfast for School Children in Ojo de Agua
Approximately 30 miles west of Danli is Ojo de Agua where St. Mark's has sponsored a breakfast for school children program since 2000. This mission is primarily about funding the purchase of food to provide one good meal every day for 80-100 Pre-K and Kindergarten children during school. Over the years St. Mark's has also helped with various capital improvement projects for the school. During the pandemic the school closed for in-person class but has continued with at-home teaching. The breakfast program has adjusted accordingly by distributing the food to the families of those children.
